Succulent Shrimp Scampi Will Make Your Heart Throb

Me and my spouse love going out to fancy dinner restaurants, mainly because of the seafood, particularly the shrimp. When that craving hits, there is nothing that seems to be able to make it go away. The problem is, with two little ones running around, we don’t always have to opportunity to get out. Even if we can go out with the kids, taking them to an expensive seafood place is always a bit of a waste.

They don’t like anything on the menu and much of the food goes in the trash. Making shrimp scampi at home was a perfect solution for those times when we have the taste for the divine dish, but not the ability to go out and get it. This shrimp tastes just as good, if not better than the stuff we get out at the restaurant.

Me and my hubby can enjoy a nice plate of it over top of an al dente linguine, and I can feed the kids the same pasta without wasting the shrimp. It gives us the best of both worlds without spending a fortune. With tiny tots around, any opportunity to avoid a disaster at a restaurant is one I’m going to take!
