Sleep On In Southern Breakfast Bake

There’s something to be said about a nice breakfast casserole on a weekend morning. The only problem is, that’s the only time I have to sleep in. I don’t want to waste my only available relaxation time to spend in my nice comfy bed slaving and sweating away in the kitchen. On the other hand, I still want to feed my family a nice, hearty, filling morning meal.

I was exploring the internet one day and came across this recipe that said “Overnight” in the title on Recipe Lion. I was curious and had to check it out. Much to my delight I discovered that this breakfast casserole is prepared the evening before you want to eat it!

Then you just pop it in the oven when you get up and breakfast is done in about 30 minutes. My family was so thrilled the morning I made this. It was something different than the traditional waffles or pancakes, but just as hearty.

My husband’s favorite part was of course the meat while me and the kids were fond of the cheesiness. Either way, it’s a casserole we all enjoyed and will be having again soon!
