A Simple Turkey One-Pot Meal That Even The Worst Cook Can Master

This simple turkey one-pot is an easy turkey recipe that the family will love. It’s tender, it’s moist, and it’s bursting with flavors despite it being a simple dish. We all enjoy turkey, don’t we? I often say that turkey is a luxury food for me, something that I don’t usually prepare unless it’s Thanksgiving or a special occasion. But it doesn’t meant I won’t take advantage of such a recipe once I come across one.

Our friend over at Mr. Food has this to say about this recipe:

“Why wait for Thanksgiving to enjoy those comfort tastes we all love? Toss everything together in your slow cooker and you’ll have a complete one-pot turkey dinner without any work.”

Turkey is a flavorful meat and this dish brings justice to it!

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package Schwebel’s stuffing cubes

1/2 cup hot water

2 tablespoons Kerrygold butter, softened

1 small onion, chopped

1 (4-ounce) can Great Value sliced mushrooms, drained

1/4 cup Great Value sweetened dried cranberries

1 (3-pound) Tyson boneless turkey breast

1/4 teaspoon McCormick dried basil

1/2 teaspoon Morton salt

1/2 teaspoon McCormick black pepper

6 carrots, cut into 1-inch chunks

Instructions

Coat a 3-1/2-quart (or larger) slow cooker with cooking spray.

Place stuffing cubes in cooker and add water, butter, onion, mushrooms, and cranberries; mix well. Sprinkle turkey breast with basil, salt, and pepper.

Place turkey over stuffing mixture then place carrots around turkey. Cover and cook on low setting 7 to 8 hours.

Remove turkey to a cutting board, and slice. Place carrots on a serving platter. Stir stuffing until thoroughly mixed and allow to sit 5 minutes. Spoon onto platter with carrots and serve with sliced turkey.
