Right Down Bourbon Street Crock Pot Chicken

There was a time when all we would eat at home was chicken. It seemed like my mom would make chicken every single night of the week. I like chicken…don’t get me wrong, but it seemed like it always tasted the same. One day, I came home from school and I didn’t even have to ask what was for dinner, I already knew.

The only difference was, there was a new smell in the air. It smelled amazing. I was actually looking forward to dinner that night. When Mom plated this out for us, my mouth instantly started watering. The juiciness of the dish was amazing. I dove right into my plate and didn’t stop eating until it was all gone. I told Mom she had to make that again and we had it several times after that.

When I found this recipe on Spend with Pennies, I knew it was going to be just as good. I didn’t hesitate to make it for my family. They all scarfed it right down and went back for seconds. Now, when I have chicken ready for dinner, this is one of my favorite…and my family’s favorite go-to meals.
