One Pot Alfredo Chicken Will Make Your Mouth Happy As A Pig In Mud

This is such an easy dish to make, even your kids can do it.  My husband makes this all time when I am caught up with work and he is getting hungry.  Every time he surprises me with this, I am elated.  I know it is totally delicious, and it is so easy, even he can get in the kitchen and make dinner.  The best part? There is barely any clean up due to the fact that the whole thing is made in one pot.  That is a huge win if you ask me!

Check out what our friends over at Six Sister’s Stuff had to say about this:

“I love chicken Alfredo, but I hate that I usually have to dirty three big pots to make it. Combine efforts and make it all in one pot- making dishes a breeze!”

Yes! Oh yes, you can totally make this tonight and feel so happy for making a great dish without making a mess!

Ingredients

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts , cut into bite-sized pieces

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1 (14 oz) can Swanson chicken broth

1 cup Land O’ Lakes heavy cream

2 cups penne pasta or any bite-sized shape pasta, uncooked

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

2 cups grated Kraft parmesan cheese

3/4 cup Kraft mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

Add oil to large skillet pan and heat over medium-high heat. Add chicken and saute for 2-3 minutes or until chicken starts to lightly brown. Add in garlic and saute for another minute.

Pour in chicken broth, cream, pasta and basil and mix to combine. Bring to a boil, then cover pan and reduce to a summer. Let simmer for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is fully cooked.

Remove from heat and add parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and fully mixed in, then serve.
