Effortless Appetizers…Sweet And Sour Cocktail Wieners

It doesn’t matter if I am having one person over or twenty, I always have to offer some sort of foods. It could be an entire four course meal or just a few appetizers. It all depends on how much time and energy I have, and what the purpose of the gathering is.

Whenever my sister-in-law and her husband come to visit, we usually play board games and spend time around the kitchen table. We don’t really have time, nor do we feel like sitting down to a meal so appetizers it usually is.

One such night, it was a last minute plan, but they decided to come and visit. I didn’t have much to work with in the fridge, but I did have some mini cocktail wieners. I knew I could dress them up if I found the right recipe.

Looking on Recipe Lion I came across the perfect solution. There were only a few ingredients, all of which I had in my kitchen. I tossed it all in the slow cooker and went and got ready.

By the time our guests arrived, the appetizers were ready to  go. Everyone ate their fill and there wasn’t a single one leftover! I think we have a winner here.
