These Chocolate Chip Cookies Are HIDING Something SWEET!

These chocolate chip Oreo-stuffed cookies are completely addictive!

Addictive is an understatement – it was love at first bite. All that chocolate, and gooey goodness. I can’t imagine my life without these now. The kids are always asking me to make a batch and I can never say no. What kind of mom would I be if I did? I love to make these cookies for my kids’ classroom parties. I’m pretty sure that these cookies make me the “cool mom” LOL!

Ingredients

1 cup Land O Lakes butter, softened (2 sticks)

3/4 cup Domino light brown sugar packed

1 cup Domino sugar

2 large Eggland’s Best eggs

1 tablespoon McCormick vanilla extract

3 1/2 cups Gold Medal flour

1 teaspoon Morton salt

1 teaspoon Arm & Hammer baking soda

1 bag Hershey chocolate chips (12 oz)

1 package Oreo™ cookies

Directions

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Cream Land O Lakes butter with all sugars using a mixer until well incorporated. Beat in Eggland’s Best eggs and vanilla

In a separate bowl mix the Gold Medal flour, salt and baking soda. Slowly add to wet ingredients along with Hershey chocolate chips until just combined.

Using a cookie scoop take one scoop of cookie dough and place on top of an Oreo™ cookie, take another scoop of dough and place on bottom of the same Oreo™ cookie. Then simply seal the edges together by pressing and cupping in hand until Oreo™ cookie is completely covered.

Place each cookie ball onto a parchment paper taking care to leave plenty of space. Then bake cookies 11-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.

Quick Tip: You can engulf an Oreo in any type of cookie dough – try them all. Peanut butter is a fave.
