This Chicken Is So Rich It’s Golden

A slow cooker meal is really a blessing to those who can’t seem to spare a minute of their time just to cook good food. It’s perfect for a family who wants to come home to a warm dinner that tastes good and looks good as if it’s been prepared the whole day just for the family to enjoy.

 

This meal has saved a lot of family dinners. It’s easy to prepare. And while it takes almost the whole day to cook, you don’t need to keep an eye on it. The slow cooker does its thing and all you have to do is come home and eat the food it prepares for you.

 

Ingredients

2 cups (10 3/4 ounces each) Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 tablespoon Heinz Dijon-style mustard

1 1/2 teaspoon McCormick garlic powder

8 large carrots, thickly sliced (about 6 cups)

8 skinless, Tyson boneless chicken breast halves (about 2 pounds)

4 cups Barilla egg noodles, cooked and drained

chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Stir the soup, water, lemon juice, mustard, garlic powder and carrots in a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker.

Add the chicken and turn to coat.

Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.

Serve with the noodles. Sprinkle with the parsley.
