The BEST Pineapple Upside Down Cake Recipe You’ll EVER Make!

Nothing beats an old-fashioned pineapple upside down cake. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m partial to all things chocolate, however, this pineapple upside down cake recipe is pretty dang good.

In fact, the pineapples are so yummy that I kinda forget I’m eating a fruit and not a piece of candy. You see, the pineapples are coated in a thick, syrupy brown sugar glaze that almost caramelizes the fruit. It’s delightful. Although this recipe doesn’t call for them, I enjoy adding a few maraschino cherries to the top of the cake.

I have a huge holiday dinner coming up and I plan on making this pineapple upside down cake. I think it’ll be a huge hit with my guests, especially my husband’s grandma as she really enjoys eating this yummy cake. Apparently, pineapple upside down cake was a real hit back in her day and it was something that ladies made a lot, especially if they were expecting guests. Makes me wish

I am old school and i don’t understand all the gram measurements. This cake sounds great but like i said i don’t understand.

Some of our contributors are from Europe so that’s why the recipe shows grams. Google has plenty of measurement translators 🙂
