This kid-approved dinner is a busy mom’s favorite recipe! Are you a busy mom or dad? I know that I surely am! Sometimes, I don’t have time to spend hours in the kitchen slaving over a hot stuff working on dinner.

So, what’s a busy gal like myself to do? Why, get the trusty old slow cooker out and hoppin’! This slow cooker chicken and rice dinner is an awesome way to feed your family a hearty meal without getting to fancy.

You only need 5 ingredients and a slow cooker. That’s it! I really enjoyed making this chicken and rice dinner. It was easy to whip up and my husband and kids loved it.

 

Ingredients

4 skinless boneless Tyson chicken breasts

1 (28 oz.) can Hunt’s Italian-seasoned diced tomatoes

1 envelope Herb and Garlic Recipe soup mix (Lipton’s or similar)

hot cooked rice or pasta

Kraft Parmesan cheese, grated

 

Instructions

Cut chicken breasts into pieces. Combine chicken, tomatoes and soup mix in the slow cooker, stir to combine.

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Serve over rice or bow tie pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
