You’re Gonna Want To Sample These Savory Sausage Balls – Yummo!

These sausage balls are too easy to make! You can whip these up in a few minutes and then you will have your finger food ready in no time. It only has what, three ingredients. Serve this during game night, as snack for kids, or even as appetizers before meal time. They’re tasty and perfect as appetizers or snacks while having conversations with family members or friends.

And I can see why. These tasty balls are a true crowd pleaser. Just choose your favorite dip and you will go a long way with this. Well, that is until the serving tray is empty. I decided to fry these in a skillet but they turn out just as tasty if you bake them in the oven.

Ingredients

1 lb bulk Johnsonville sausage

1 (10 ounce) package Sargento sharp cheddar cheese (grated)

2 cups Bisquick baking mix

Instructions

Allow cheese and sausage to reach room temperature.

Place in mixing bowl with Bisquick and blend until smooth. (I’ve had great success using my hand-held electric mixer to incorporate ingredients).

NOTE: Mixture will be quite dry.

Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.

Spray well with vegetable oil spray.

Press/roll mixture into 1 inch balls by hand; place on cookie sheet about 1 inch apart.

Bake in 400 degree Fahrenheit oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Or if you’d prefer, you can fry them in a cast iron skillet, using 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil.

Drain on paper towel
