Three of my husband’s most favorite things are chicken, bacon, and ranch. Whenever he gets a sandwich at a restaurant, that’s always his go to. I wanted to be able to recreate the flavor, but in a home cooked meal for him for his anniversary at work the other day. I found this recipe on Group Recipes and it sounded perfect. It was simple, not a lot of ingredients and extras…(he’s not a fan of vegetables)…and it could be cooked up quickly.
Fast, affordable, plain…perfect. I gave it a try and it really was very simple to throw together. I watched anxiously as he tried it.
He said is was great! I was so relieved. He told me that the meal was the perfect ending to an almost perfect day.
It made me happy to fulfill his favorite flavors in a simple dish in our kitchen. There’s nothing that my hungry guy likes more than a nice homemade meal, whatever it is. We will be having this a lot in the future I bet!
