Crunchy Panko Salmon: A family Favorite

Bet You’ve Never Tried Salmon This Way Before – And You’ll Never Want It Any Other Way Again! YUM!

Whenever I have the chance, I try to visit my aunts. I grew up in a closely knit family where relatives were like immediate family. I was close to almost all of my aunts and it’s something that I really valued. There was one of them that I rarely got to visit though because she was truly far from me. She was Aunt Mildred. Aunt Mildred didn’t have any husband. It was a choice that she made a long time ago. So whenever I visited her, I made sure she didn’t feel lonely for the next few days by spoiling her like how I would spoil my mom.

I cooked for her. I watched movies with her. I even did chores with her. Because Aunt Mildred truly looked tired and no one was there to take care of her. To thank me for my efforts, Aunt Mildred always taught me a recipe of hers.

She’s really a very good cook. And since she didn’t have a lot of things to do, her cooking just became more superb through time. Last time, she taught me how to make the most delicious breaded baked salmon. I brought home the recipe with me, all the while trying to forget the sadness in Aunt Mildred’s eyes. I promised to visit her again soon with another cousin of mine.
