Albert, one of my nephews, has been a constant visitor in my house lately. His mother, my cousin, was in town for a month because of a project that she was supervising. Though she didn’t live with me even though I insisted, she always left me her son whenever she couldn’t bring him. Now, Albert is a good kid. But just like every kid, they have those moments when they just seem so out of control! I think it came with age. I couldn’t remember being that mischievous, though.
I mean, even my brother who was quite the problem kid wasn’t that mischievous. I found myself developing a migraine whenever he stayed with me. But since he’s also adorable and he truly didn’t mean to do some of the things he did (like use my project papers as paper planes), I instantly forgave him.
But to make sure that he didn’t do any more damage to my important documents, I made a snack for him. This potato chip cluster recipe is something I found recently from Taste Of Home. It was a simple recipe that didn’t need a lot of ingredients.
In fact, most of them can be found in your pantry. They’re also very easy to make. And yes, Albert loved them. He loved them so much that he asked if he could bring home the other ones I made. I gave them all to him as a reward for behaving the rest of the afternoon.

Quick Tip: These little beauties travel well in containers without melting or getting soft.
The applesauce spice cake is not pictured in a bunt pan but rather a square pan. I think I prefer the square pan but wonder would it be 8×8 or 9×9 or 9×13? What would then be the baking time?
