Yummy French Bread Pizza With Italian Sausage And Cheese

You can add whatever different kinds of vegetables and meat you want in here to make it your own personal French bread pizza. I like to do a ham and pineapple myself. Sometimes I will use and alfredo sauce instead of the ketchup and Worcestershire. You can also use pizza or marinara sauce as well. This is one of those very versatile recipes that can be easily altered each time you make it. You will never have to do it the same way twice… the possibilities here are endless!

If you want to have leftovers of this, you might want to make two loaves!

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 lb Johnsonville ground sausage
2 c cheese (your choice of Cheese-shredded, or diced)
1/2 tsp oregano
2 Tbsp Heinz ketchup
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 loaf French or Italian bread, sliced horizontally

Instructions

Brown meat, then add the other ingredients.
Spoon filling into loaf that has been sliced; if freezing, wrap in foil and put in plastic bag of later use.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. If frozen, bake for about 20 min or until bread is crispy and filling is heated through.

It says “spoon filling INTO loaf”. Does that mean you gutted the loaf of bread, or did you put filling on top of loaf halves ?
