I was having a pretty bad day at work. It happens from time to time. You know those days where nothing ever seems to go the way you want it to. First, the copy machine jammed, then my stapler did and I accidentally stapled my own finger. My computer crashed I don’t know how many times. It just wasn’t my day. It felt like I had been working my tail off and going nowhere. I finally went to the break room for lunch…yes all this happened before lunch…and I was greeted by the most amazing chocolate bar.
My good friend and co-worker Stacey had made a dessert that looked like it was sent from heaven. She said it was called a death by chocolate magic bar, and she found the recipe on Spend with Pennies. As soon as I took one bite, I forgot completely about everything that had gone wrong with my day.
I sat in peace and devoured that tasty little treat, and went back to the floor with a fantastic attitude. Needless to say, I think they really were magic. Nothing bad happened for the rest of the day!
