You’ll Be Swingin’ Through The Trees For This Monkey Bread

I often have my son’s friends over or my cousin’s children. All these little ones are around ages 8 to 10. They usually spend their time engrossed in a movie, video game, or the latest YouTube video upload from their favorite personalities. I however, like to get them involved in doing fun and hands-on activities. Baking is something that I never hear to many arguments on when I suggest it to the group.

Everyone is always willing to get their hands in the batter…or whatever else we are working on. And then of course, licking of the spoons and beaters is always a popular event. The last time they came over, I suggested making this monkey bread that I found on Mom & Wife.

I had already picked up all the ingredients and the instructions were very straightforward and simple. We all dove right in with assisting on this great dessert. When it was done, everyone devoured it.

There wasn’t a crumb left in site. What a victory for me in the activity department!
