You Don’t Even Need To Turn The Oven On For These Stupid-Simple Dessert Bars

I was completely smitten with the sweet and savory tastes of this dessert! You get chewy chocolate and peanut butter mixed with crunchy pretzel crumbs. Yum!

This is a recipe that you take with you to a potluck, group gathering, or party. It makes a lot and is a great conversation starter. You know what I also love to do when making this? I cut it into bite-sized pieces and freeze for later. I actually think this tastes even more amazing when it’s still a little frozen!

Ingredients

1 ½ sticks Land O’ Lakes butter, melted

2 cups pretzels, crushed into crumbs

1 ½ cups Domino confectioner’s sugar

1 cup plus ¼ cup smooth peanut butter

1 ½ cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Combine the melted butter, pretzel crumbs, confectioners sugar and 1-cup peanut butter in a bowl, and mix until well combined. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13″ baking dish. Combine the chocolate chips and the remaining ¼ cup peanut butter in a saucepan. Heat slowly until the chocolate and peanut butter is melted and smooth and combined. Spread over peanut butter pretzel layer. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares.
