You Won’t Believe What’s In These Perfect Little Bundles

All of the grandkids really did enjoy these. I think they had a lot of fun helping me make them too. They were so easy to put together, and just a few minutes in the oven and they were done. We ate up the first batch pretty fast, so it was a good thing I bought extra ingredients. I forgot how much three hungry little kids could eat! It was one of the best nights I have had in a very long time. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Julie’s Eats & Treats:

“These do look perfect for a week night dinner and I’m pretty sure my kids would love them.”

When my week night got busier than what I had expected, these turned out great!

Ingredients

12 Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature

1 pound lean ground beef

3/4 cup chopped sweet onion

3/4 teaspoon Morton salt

1/4 teaspoon McCormick’s pepper

8 slices bacon, cooked and diced

1 Cup Kraft Shredded Cheddar

ketchup or BBQ sauce for dipping

Instructions

Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Flatten each roll into a 4-inch square. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest.

Brown hamburger, onion, salt and pepper together and drain. Add bacon and toss until well combined. Remove wrap from dough squares and place about 1/4 cup meat mixture onto the center of each one. Top with about 1 tablespoon grated cheese.

Bring opposite corners of each dough square over meat and pinch together. Repeat with remaining corners.

Place each bundle on a sprayed baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375°F 15 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove from oven and serve warm with ketchup or BBQ sauce for dipping.
