We went to my Uncle’s house for a brunch not that long ago, and he had quite the spread out. One thing I know about my uncle is how much he loves bacon. Pretty much everything that he had set out was bacon flavored, bacon topped, or just bacon period. That’s how it’s always so easy to get my husband to go to his house. They have one thing in common at least. He had these peppered bacon twists out and they looked good!
I was also intrigued at how he had made them. He said he accidentally found the recipe on Group Recipes when he was looking for a new bacon sandwich recipe…go figure.
I had him show it to me and I was amazed. Something with such a big flavor had so few ingredients and such simple instructions. Now, I make these at home not only for breakfast but also for afternoon snacks.
One thing my kids inherited was their father’s love for bacon…or maybe it was their great-uncle’s…either way we can’t go wrong with bacon anything at our house!
