One of the staple foods that we had growing up was tuna noodle casserole. My mom would make her mom’s recipe for us at least once every other week.

It was cheap, easy, and pretty tasty. My brother wasn’t always fond of it but he would eat it if that’s what we were having. I tried to make it a few times for my husband after we got married and he flat out refused to even try it.

He claimed he didn’t like tuna fish…but he would eat tuna sandwiches. I thought maybe it was the mushroom soup, but he liked mushrooms. My sister was talking about this new casserole recipe she had tried, and knew it was the solution I was looking for.

What hungry guy doesn’t like bacon? My man gobbled this right up and went in for a second helping. Finally, a casserole that I can actually get him to eat.
