Ever since we were little, we have been going to the same restaurant when we wanted Italian cuisine. It just became routine to go there because the prices were good, the portions were huge, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely extraordinary. We went there almost every Sunday after church and celebrated each of our birthday dinners there throughout the years.
It was a fun, relaxed, authentic Italian restaurant and we went so often, we knew the owners, their family, all the staff. It has always been a truly pleasurable experience there. Well, every meal there came with a soup or salad.
Many times we would go with the soup because their pasta Faggioli is absolutely excellent! Well, the other day, we ordered our meals as usual and when we asked for the pasta Faggioli, we were told they were out for the day. I was so disappointed because that is my favorite of their soups!
But they told me they have the minestrone so I figured I would go with that. My goodness, the minestrone was just as good as the pasta Faggioli. It was so flavorful, had so much pasta and veggies. I absolutely loved it!
