The Famous Hot Brown Kentucky Sandwich – It’s LEGENDARY!

My husband and I met in college, and it’s a good thing because we lived in completely different states.

If we hadn’t attended the same university, we would have probably never met, and we wouldn’t be where we are today. I remember on one of our first dates, my husband invited me over for lunch at his apartment that he shared with a few roommates. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was what a mess it was, but I guess that’s what you get with four guys living together.

When he served me the sandwich that he had made, I forgot all about the mess around me. He made these hot brown sandwiches that were native to his hometown. Louisville, Kentucky. It was just like this recipe from Facebook.

I think he won me over that day with his cooking skills, but I didn’t tell him then. He had to work a little bit harder than that to make me his bride, and as the the gentleman that he is, he did just that.
