No matter where we used to go as kids as far as a restaurant, there was one thing that my sister would always look for…chicken strips and tater tots. Most of the time, these establishments didn’t have tater tots, so she would settle for french fries. When they did though, boy oh boy was she excited. I even ordered it a few times myself just because of how much she loved them. They were good, I gave her credit. Then, when I had my own kids, it started all over again.
All they ever wanted was chicken strips. When I found this recipe for tater tot coated chicken strips on Spend With Pennies I thought, finally, someone has figured it out! The next time my sister and her crew came over for lunch, I surprised everyone with these.
I’ll tell you one thing, there weren’t any chicken strips leftover! Everyone just loved the flavor of these, especially my sis. She had me write down the recipe for her so she could make them at home. I wouldn’t put it past her that she made them again that same day.
