Stuff Your Shells Right To The Brim

The main reason why I wanted to go to Italy after graduation from college was to sample the food. I mean…experience the culture. Okay, who am I kidding, it was for the food. I love Italian food! There’s something about a good pasta that just touches the soul. I had the most amazing stuffed shells while I was there. They were so cheesy and delicious, I went back to the same restaurant three times to eat them.

Luckily, and without me even knowing, my now wife was working at that restaurant. She thought that I was there to see her…and by the third visit who wouldn’t. When she first approached me I was stunned by her beauty and the fact that she would even want to talk to me.

Years later when she told me she knew I was coming back to the restaurant just to see her, I let her go on thinking that. And every time she makes me these stuffed shells like the recipe from All Recipes has, it takes me back to Italy, to the place where we “accidentally” fell in love.
