Stay Away All Day Round Steak Casserole

Whenever we would go to my grandma’s during summer vacation, I remember spending all day outside playing. Grandma was always out there too.

Not so much playing but spending time with us, gardening, hanging clothes on the line, whatever busywork she had to get done outside that’s what she did. She loved being out in the sunshine just as much as we did. Whenever we would come in after a long day out in the fresh air, there was always a pan full of a deliciously tasting casserole piping hot and ready to go.

There was a time that I thought Grandma must be magic to cook a meal like this in just a few minutes. That was, until I found a similar recipe on Group Recipes. After reading the simple directions, it was clear to me how such a mouthwatering meal could be made without spending more than a little while in the kitchen.

Now that I have the recipe, I make this when I want to spend the day away with my own kids. It’s so much more enjoyable knowing that dinner is already going to be done when you get home!
