Sorry – This Recipe Is Going To Ruin Your Diet!

There’s no easy way to say this, so I’m just going to go ahead and do it: I am weak. I’m weaker than I ever thought I could be, and I’m not even sad about it. These incredible jam sandwich cookies are my weakness – I could eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner (to be absolutely honest with you, I kinda have). And it’s not the kind of weakness where you eat three cookies and go; “my gosh, that was one too many”.

Nope. The weakness I’m talking about is the kind where you eat two just for starters. Then you figure two more is not going to hurt you, or another two after that, until you’ve devoured the whole batch. Except for that last one – no-one ever eats the last cookie!

So, you go to bed thinking about that last cookie and you come up with a brilliant solution. Make another batch! If you do that, no-one will have to know you’ve actually already eaten a whole batch. You can eat a few more cookies from the second batch and say that’s all you’ve had so far!

And then you give half of that second batch to your neighbor and keep the other half yourself. I may or may not have done that the other day.
