Slow Cooked Sloppy Style Cheeseburgers

As part of a graduation gift, I decided I would write down all the recipes that were her favorites, and which ones I knew she would be able to easily make in her new apartment, with her new roommates, at her new school. She called me that very first night and told me she made these for all of her new friends. Everyone loved them, and I was so proud of my baby girl growing up into a beautiful young woman. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Group Recipes:

“Great, quick recipe!”

Instead of standing over the grill or skillet in the kitchen making burgers one by one, try them out this way, you won’t be disappointed.

1/2 pounds ground beef

1/2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash lemon pepper blend

1 8 ounce package Velveeta pasteurized process cheese spread, diced

2 tablespoons milk

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 sandwich buns

In a large skillet, brown ground beef and lemon pepper blend until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Combine cooked ground beef and all remaining ingredients except buns in slow cooker; mix well.

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours. To serve: spoon mixture onto sandwich buns

Quick Tip: Toss in some diced jalapenos for an added kick!

Thanks again to Group Recipes for this really simple recipe.
