Sit Back And Relax, This Baby Cooks Itself

Everyone knows that my one signature dish is Parmesan crusted pork chops and mashed potatoes. It is something I discovered early on in my culinary learning when we got married, it goes so well together, it is easy, looks highly impressive, and the best part? It is DELICIOUS. My goodness, this meal is just always my go to when people are coming over, or I am simply unsure of what to make for dinner.

My family loves it when this gets to my table! And, they also know it means I had no idea what to make for dinner (haha) but they do not care, and neither do I. Well, I made this far too much for my guests.

So much so that everyone that ever came to my house knew that is what I would be serving. It became a bit annoying to hear that from everyone and honestly a bit embarrassing, so I began to switch up my menu. I did not know what I would make, but I knew I wanted to play on my guests.

So I figured I would still serve them pork chops and potatoes,  but in another way. So that, my friends, is what I did. I made scalloped potatoes with pork chops on top in the way that chicken pot pie was made. It was marvelous.
