Settle The Score With Your Stomach By Serving Yourself Some Oatmeal Cookies

Oatmeal cookies were the first cookies that I ever learned to make when I was a young girl. I remember a little lady from our church was baking them in the church kitchen and she showed me how to make them. Such a sweet memory! I love reflecting on baking with elderly ladies when I was a little girl. I learned so much from those women about life and how to cook. Of course, my own mother taught me these things as well.

I think these cookies are a wonderful treat to take to a baseball. soccer, or football game. They are easy to share and everyone tends to love them.
