Set The Slow Cooker To Low And Let This Turkey Chili Simmer All Day Long – Yummo!

Chili is perfect during the rainy season and cold weather. Pair it off with a crusty bread and a nice side dish of green salad and you can have a relaxing dinner with your family.

It’s also flavorful that it will satisfy your stomach and your taste buds.  When my kids are raving about this slow cooker turkey chili, and they were, you know that it is good. I have given birth to some of the pickiest eaters to ever grace the planet. When these kids like something it is a total mom win. You definitely need to try this recipe!

 

I love chili when it’s raining! It just warms you up in a really delicious way. It’s so flavorful that you will tend to forget the coldness around you and just enjoy a serving. This dish even offers a healthier version of chili because it uses turkey! Who wouldn’t love this?

 

Ingredients

2 large cans Hunt’s chopped tomatoes

1 cup College Inn beef broth

1 small can Hunt’s tomato sauce

1 can Progresso dark red kidney beans

2 lbs Tyson very lean ground turkey

1 medium onion

3 T McCormick chili powder

1 T McCormick pepper

1 tsp sugar

 

Instructions

Brown ground turkey on the stove top.

Dice onion.

Combine all ingredients in the crockpot.

Simmer on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 2 hours.
