You’ve probably heard of those breakfast casseroles that you can make ahead of time and then just put in the oven when you are ready to eat. I’ve heard of them, but I’ve never tried one myself. That was, until it was Father’s Day Eve, and we had a houseful. My parents were visiting, so were my in-laws, and my sister along with her two kids. Last minute everyone decided that they were going to spend the night.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I love having my family as close to me as possible. One thing I don’t love is not having anything to feed them in the morning. When I got a second away, I did a quick search on the internet for these types of meals and found one on Group Recipes.
Luckily, I had everything I needed already in the kitchen. I put it all together and placed it in the fridge. I got up earlier than everyone else and popped this in the oven.
It was ready to go by the time our guests started stirring. Everyone ate hungrily and walked away satisfied. I will keep this recipe close by for future overnight guests!
