My husband and I met in one of those traditional ways… through mutual friends. Our best friends were actually already married to each other, so we had met at their wedding, but there was never any romantic connection to speak of. After the couple had purchased a new home, they decided to host a Mexican-themed party at their new pad. Of course, me and my now husband were both in attendance.
They had an amazing spread of food out including a fajita bar that I just couldn’t get enough of. It was just like this one from My Recipes. I think I went back up to that table two or maybe three times.
Every time I went up, there he was, scarfing down his own fajitas. That’s when the conversation started. We first talked about how good the food was, and the rest is history.
Now I make these at home for us all the time. There still is a great conversation between us, starting with how scrumptious these are!
