Serve Sausage And Stuffing Casserole At Your Next Shindig

No kid that I know loves spinach on the first taste, or even at first glance.

As a kid, I too was wary at first because well, it’s a green leafy vegetable; and for kids, anything green tasted like grass. Who would want to eat grass? Popeye helped. He was the reason why my parents were able to let me taste spinach. Spinach made Popeye, andng; and I would want to grow up strong and healthy. Not surprisingly, I found it tolerable as opposed to my brother who had started crying after his first chew. Spinach didn’t really taste like grass, but I have to admit that it didn’t taste good for me either. At least not until it’s part of a dish.

Spinach and artichoke dip is my favorite. Give me some nachos or taco shells and I’ll be happily eating away. I also love crispy spinach with garlic mayo dip or tartar sauce. But if spinach is part of a casserole dish, then that would probably be the best one yet. There will be all those new flavors; and at the same time, spinach will be that touch of freshness. Just like this recipe called Sausage Spinach Bake. Spinach and sausage in one dish? You should give it a try!.
