Savory Pesto Chicken That’ll Make Your Mouth Water!

That night, I served them over pasta. They taste so good with it, just like the pesto pasta you usually order at restaurants. The chicken really goes so well with pesto- the tag team of these two is truly amazing! The pesto just enhances the taste of the chicken while at the same time giving it that fresh taste. I could see how my family was satisfied with the dish. Yes, even my twins, because they seemed to get their pesto-loving trait from their Mom!

It’s definitely delicious and one of my favorite recipes. The best thing about this is it’s so easy to make. You just have to layer down the ingredients, which will not take long!

You will have an amazing dish in no time!

Ingredients

1½ pounds Tyson boneless chicken breasts, pounded ½ inch (6-8 pieces) – You can modify this recipe to use chicken legs or thighs, too.

1 cup Progresso Italian breadcrumbs

1 (5-6 ounce) jar Classico pesto (or homemade)

2- 3 ounces sliced Sargento provolone cheese

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350F. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.

Coat each chicken breast in breadcrumbs lightly and place into the prepared pan. Spread the pesto sauce on top of the chicken and then top with the sliced Provolone.

Bake, uncovered, for 30-35 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the cheese is melted.

Serve immediately over pasta or a salad.
