Sausage Hashbrown Breakfast Casserole: A Southern Morning Delight!

It is a sausage, hash brown breakfast casserole with every delicious flavor you would want to enjoy for breakfast. Now, I will admit, although it is cheaper, it does not mean it is healthier. It is still pretty fatty as well. But mmm, so so good! My husband is a potato guy. That sounds funny, but what I mean is he loves potatoes with his breakfast. And this one is approved by him, so it’s gotta be good!

Don’t wonder what to eat for breakfast in the morning any longer. Here is your perfect, family approved recipe.

Ingredients

2 lb hot breakfast sausage

1 (30-32oz) bag Ore-Ida frozen shredded hash browns

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp McCormick garlic powder

1/4 tsp McCormick onion powder

2 cups Kraft shredded cheddar cheese

8 eggs

2 cups milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink. Drain fat.

Add hash browns to skillet and cook until lightly brown. Place hash browns in bottom of a lightly greased 9×13-inch pan. Top with sausage and cheese.

Whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and milk. Pour over hash brown mixture.

**Cover and refrigerate at this point if baking later.**

Bake for 35-40 minutes.
