Salsa Chicken That Will Have You Dancing In The Kitchen

I usually cannot get my picky three year old to eat any kind of meats. For some reason though, he loves salsa. So, when I told him that there was salsa on this chicken, he couldn’t wait to dig in. He ate his entire portion and even asked for seconds! Now, we use this recipe at home all the time. We don’t ever have to worry about leftovers! Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at All Recipes:

“Very easy and very quick, yet it tastes so good people will think you slaved for hours over this dish!”

This is the perfect meal for any busy weeknight at home.

Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

4 teaspoons Old El Paso taco seasoning mix

1 cup salsa

1 cup shredded Kraft Cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons Daisy sour cream (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)

Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle taco seasoning on both sides of chicken breasts, and pour salsa over all.

Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 25 to 35 minutes, or until chicken is tender and juicy and its juices run clear.

Sprinkle chicken evenly with cheese, and continue baking for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with sour cream if desired, and serve.
