I love the green color of this delicious salad. It’s so pretty to look at! With the addition of the red maraschino cherries, you can easily present this yummy dessert as a festive Christmas dish. In fact, that is exactly what I am going to do! I know this salad will look as pretty as a winter centerpiece on my table. It may even impress my mother’n law. Imagine that! You are going to love this delicious recipe.
I took this yummy 5-minute Watergate salad to my sister’s baby shower and everyone gobbled it up like nobody’s business.
Ingredients
1 (4-ounce) box Jello instant pistachio pudding mix
1 (20-ounce) can Dole crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8-ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed
1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 1/2 cup miniature Jet-Puffed marshmallows
Maraschino cherries and additional marshmallows for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl combine the drained pineapple and the pudding mix. Stir to coat. Add Cool Whip and stir to coat. Add coconut and marshmallows; stir to combine.
If you like, decorate top with cherries and marshmallows. Chill for at least an hour before serving.
