Mmmmm…. french fries….my guilty pleasure. There’s just something about a greasy, salty french fry that makes me so happy.
Whenever I get them from the drive thru though, I am taking a risk. Sometimes they are nice and fresh and perfectly cooked. Other times they are flopped over, soggy, and cold. I was tired of spending my money and wasting my calories on something that only tasted so-so. That’s when I decided I would make my own version.
I found a recipe for a spicy Italian potato wedge on Group Recipes and it got me pretty excited. I had to try them out right away. They came together a lot easier than I expected and the taste was amazing! I was worried that they were going to be too dry, like potato wedges often are, but they weren’t at all!
I ate…not ashamed to say…the entire batch that first time! Now, I am a little more reserved and make these for a side dish for my family. Everyone always loves when these come on their plate!
