Who Put Mac And Cheese In My Pizza?

No matter what way you look at it, this is a pizza. That being said, it’s a pretty versatile dish. You can add and subtract whatever you like to make it your own. We like to try different cheeses and sometimes I even sneak a few diced up vegetables in it. Shhhh!!! Don’t tell the kids! Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Recipe Lion:

“It might sound funny, but it sure tastes good!”

We call it “macizza” at my house. Watching the kid’s smiles when I say that’s what’s for dinner is what makes it so fun to say!

Ingredients

2 boxes Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Mix

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 pound ground beef

1 pound pork sausage

2 jars Ragu pizza quick sauce

1 package sliced pepperoni

8 ounces Kraft cheddar cheese

8 ounces mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F degrees.

Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions.

Stir in the eggs for binder.

Spread on cookie sheet that has been lightly sprayed with cooking spray.

Bake for 10 minutes at 350F degrees.

While macaroni is in the oven, brown beef and sausage; drain if necessary.

Spread over baked mac and cheese.

Spread pizza sauce, both cheeses, and pepperoni over pie.

Bake for another 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
