Poor Man’s Beef Stew Made Simple And Easy, Just For You!

This stew is seriously easy to make. I am assuming that it got the name “poor man’s beef stew” because you use canned meats in it. Now, before you turn your nose up at canned meats I’d like to assure you that they are, indeed, very good. You can purchase canned meats at the grocery store or preserve them yourself. I live just up the road from an Amish farm and they can all of their own meat and sell it. So yummy!

Will you be making this delicious stew? Perhaps, you can make it over an open campfire like a pioneer!

Ingredients

10 New Potatoes, boiled and cut into quarters

14 ounce can Green Giant whole kernel corn

14 ounce can Bush’s butter beans, baby limas, or limas

1 onion, chopped

10 ounce can chucked pork

10 ounce can beef bbq in sauce (I use Castlebury’s)

10 or 12 ounce can chicken

Instructions

Dump all contents into a medium sized stockpot, including liquid in all of the cans.

Place over medium heat, stirring often, and bring just to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer, stirring from time to time, for 30 minutes to an hour.
