My favorite place back home to get cheese fries was an old-fashioned diner right in the middle of town. They had the best fries. You could watch them cut fresh potatoes through the door where the waitresses blasted through with serving trays. I was always staring in that direction anyway waiting for my plate of cheesy deliciousness to come through. After the restaurant closed down, I had a hard time finding something that even came close to the same flavor, until I discovered this recipe on Recipe Lion.
Holy smokes! It was exactly how I remembered them, and maybe even better because they went straight from the oven into my mouth.
I got to share these with my family and they were all just as amazed at the flavor as I was. This is a dish that we will continue to snack on forever now that I know the recipe!
