No Name French Dressing Crock Pot Chicken? Okay!

Whenever we are having dinner guests over at the last minute, this is my go-to recipe. I can quickly toss it together and put it in the crock pot so that I can get the rest of the house, and myself ready for whomever is joining us. Chicken is one of the simplest things to change the cook time in a crock pot on too. If I have a while, low and slow is the best. If I am in a hurry, high and quick will taste just fine. I’ve done it both ways and have never had any issues. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Seeded At The Table:

“Easy and delish? Gotta love it!”

Chicken and three other ingredients and this meal is on the way to your belly.

Ingredients

4 fresh or frozen boneless chicken breasts

1 cup Kraft french dressing

1 cup Smucker’s apricot jelly/jam/preserves

1 package Lipton onion soup mix

salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Dump all in the crock pot and cook on high for 3 hours. If using frozen chicken, cook on high for 4 hours, then low for 2 hours.

We call it Catalina chicken because we use the Catalina French dressing. I got the recipe from a friend year’s ago. My family loves it!!!

Try this…1 bottle Catalina dressing, 1 packet dry Lipton Onion soup mix and 1 can jellied (or whole) cranberry sauce. Mix together and pour over chicken and bake. DELICIOUS!
