My mom was always one of the most creative people I knew when it came to cooking. She would always be able to make a miracle dinner when we barely had anything in the fridge. We always had meat because my parents would by that in bulk when it went on sale. What she was going to do with it we never knew. I swear at one time all we had in the fridge was what could fit in the door on the side.
You know dressings, jellies, mayonnaise, things like that. Even though I thought we were all going to starve, she created this mouthwatering chicken that tasted like it came from the fancy restaurant down the road. It was just like this one that I found on Recipe Lion.
Little did I know the ingredients were so simple and the instructions were even easier. Now that I have a love for my own slow cooker, this is one of my favorite meals to make when I’m at a loss of what to do with my chicken.
I know I will definitely have the ingredients in the house that’s for sure!

How Long on just low? Thanks
We call it Catalina chicken because we use the Catalina French dressing. I got the recipe from a friend year’s ago. My family loves it!!!
This recipe even tastes better when you put crumbled bacon in it. Delish
Can you use something other than apricot allergies mess up so much
Try this…1 bottle Catalina dressing, 1 packet dry Lipton Onion soup mix and 1 can jellied (or whole) cranberry sauce. Mix together and pour over chicken and bake. DELICIOUS!
The Cranberry sounds good too I have also had it made with orange marmalade which was good .
