Mini Meatball Pasta Casserole That Will Have Your Cowboy Saying Giddyup!

Ahhh spaghetti and meatballs. An almost weekly staple in our house. It’s cheap, quick, and liked by everyone. Only after eating it every week for months and years on end, it get’s kind of old. “Spaghetti again?!?” You can surprise your loved ones this week with this twist on the old classic. This is a baked dish loaded with fresh mozzarella so it really gives the boring meatballs and spaghetti sauce a little extra something special.

Instead of using spaghetti noodles, which can be a bit difficult to maneuver for my smaller kids, I used ziti pasta. It’s the same flavor but it makes things a little cleaner around the kitchen table, if you know what I mean. Even though we all still ended up with sauce all over our faces, it was because it was so tasty!

The casserole is super filling too and easily fed our family of four. If you are looking to serve a bigger group or even serve this at a party, you can simply double or triple the recipe and mix everything nicely in a roasting pan to cook. It’s sure to be a crowd pleaser!
