Mama’s Easy Tuna Casserole

My brother and sister couldn’t stand when my mom used to make tuna casserole. I don’t know if it was just the tuna fish or the concept of it being a casserole, but when mom made it, they opted for cereal. Me on the other hand, I knew what I was getting. Something warm, creamy, and delicious. My siblings didn’t appreciate this until they were much older. That’s when I got my “I told you so!” moment in that we always were reaching for.

One day when searching for new recipes online, I came across this one on Group Recipes. It was a little bit different than what I remembered Mom making, so I thought I’d try it out. It was just as good! One thing that made this simple is that it was all done in one pan on the stove top.

There was no need to fire up the oven. That makes this a great dish all year round, especially when you don’t want to overheat the house in the summer. Keeping this one close for certain!
