Make Breakfast Great Again With This Sour Cream Hashbrown Casserole

After I started having kids, breakfast around our house turned pretty routine. The kids only wanted one of two things most of the time…cereal or pancakes. I used to make big fancy breakfasts for me and my husband, but the kids didn’t like that stuff so I changed what I made to suit their preferences. Well last year, my youngest daughter entered into high school. So, that means, I no longer have kids, I have little adults…otherwise known as teenagers.

Over the years, they have learned to let their taste buds expand a bit. When I found this recipe on Group Recipes, I thought it looked like a great breakfast to start them with on something different. I mean, who doesn’t like sour cream and hasbrowns?

I liked the fact that I could have it prepared and on the table in under an hour…making it perfect for even busy weekday mornings. I got up a little bit earlier, not much, and tossed all this together not too long ago.

My kids just loved it! So did my husband and I. The pan was nearly cleared right out! This is one that I will be holding close for more breakfasts down the road.
