Mae’s No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter & Oatmeal Cookies

Mae is one of my friends who stopped working when she became a mom. It’s both her and her husband’s decision. They wanted their kids to grow up being watched over all the time by one of them. And since her husband has the more stable position, Mae gave way. They did weigh the pros and cons and her husband working had the more pros so she resigned and became a full-pledged housewife. Since she has a huge kitchen, Mae takes advantage of it and bakes.

Since her desserts became a hit, she decided to turn it into a business. She bakes desserts for her friends and family, but they’re mostly direct orders. I am one of Mae’s “samplers”.

Whenever she discovers a recipe and puts her own flavor into it, she brings me samples of her baked goodies. The recent one she bought me was a can of no-bake chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cookies. Oh my God! They were so yummy!

They melt in your mouth and they taste really good with coffee! They also didn’t get stuck in my teeth so that’s another point for her. I think it became one of her best sellers. And I am probably one of her most loyal customers. Well, I couldn’t stay away!
