Pretty much everything that my mom ever made for me was my favorite dish. Pastas, stews, soups, chili, pizza…it didn’t really matter what she put in or on the oven, it was amazing. She made the best meatloaf that I had ever tasted in my entire life. There aren’t many people I know that can make a good meatloaf like hers. That was true, up until I found this recipe for a slow cooker meatloaf on Group Recipes.
It looked a lot like what hers used to be, except it was all done in the crock pot. That was exactly what I need in my life! Anything that can go in the slow cooker I fall in love with. Not only for the taste, but also for how simple it is!
The house was filled with an amazing aroma when I walked in after running all my errands. Then, I had time to do up mashed potatoes and a steamed vegetable to make this a complete meal.
Everyone inhaled their plates and went back for seconds. It’s the only way we do meatloaf at our house now!
