Lazy Man’s Slow Cooker Lasagna

When the warm weather hits my area, it’s hot, hot, hot! It’s so hot in fact, that the last thing I want to do is turn on the oven. Sometimes, it’s even too hot to eat. After a few days of heat though, and only eating Popsicles, hunger eventually takes over. I still don’t want to turn on the oven though. Thankfully, I have plenty of crock pot recipes that I have stockpiled over the years. Each spring, I do a quick internet search to see if there are any new ideas out there so I can make the most of my beloved slow cooker.

Last year, I was shocked to find one of my most favorite dishes could be made in the crock pot while doing a search of Group Recipes… lasagna! I love lasagna…probably more than anything else that I make. I couldn’t wait to try it.

I didn’t even wait for a hot summer day. I picked up all the ingredients right away and made it the next day. It turned out amazing. The flavor was incredible. I think I ate three servings worth. My husband really enjoyed it too. I can definitely add this one to my list.
